How do I set up territories?
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- You need to be an event organizer
- The event must be stopped
- You should know the rough geography of your event area — territories are placed by clicking on the map
- Open your event → Territories tab.
- Click anywhere on the map to drop a territory. It appears with two concentric circles and a default name like
Territorio 1. - Edit the new card on the left. Fields commit as you change them — no Save button:
- Capture Radius (inner ring) — how close a team must be to start capturing. Smaller = harder.
- Influence Radius (outer ring) — any challenges inside this circle get auto-linked to the territory. Must be ≥ capture radius.
- Time Required to Capture — how many seconds a team must stand inside the capture radius to claim an unowned territory.
- Can be recaptured — turn on if you want rival teams to be able to contest ownership.
- Recapture Cooldown (only when “Can be recaptured” is on) — lock-out time after a successful capture before another fight can be triggered.
- Points — how many points the owning team earns each tick (1 – 1000).
- Frequency — seconds between point ticks (minimum 10). Set 60 for one tick per minute.
- To reposition, drag the territory marker on the map.
- To add more, click again on the map. Repeat as many times as you want.
- (Optional) Use the center-on-map icon (crosshairs) on a card to focus the map on that territory.
- (Optional) Drag a challenge pin into a territory’s influence circle to assign it. The card’s challenge count updates instantly.
- Done. As soon as you start the event, the territories become live for capture.
Result
Section titled “Result”Each territory you placed becomes a capturable zone in the player app. Teams who stand inside the capture radius for the configured time take ownership and earn points every tick. Rival teams that walk into an owned zone trigger a minigame duel to decide who keeps it.
If something goes wrong: If a team reports they can’t capture, check the territory still exists, the event is running, and their GPS position is accurate. If the influence radius doesn’t show on the player map, double-check it’s not smaller than the capture radius.
